JACK POPPER [the DJ alias of Kyle Palmer] has been involved in Melbourne queer disco scene for many years organising, promoting and DJing at Bendy Rainbow and co-promoting Piu Disco. With DJ partner The D Word, he forms the b2b duo Prim and Popper who have played at Mary! Disco [at Chillout Festival], Bruno Disco, Arbory Afloat [Pride Party], Blanke Pop [Midsumma party], Honcho Disko and Avalon Bar. Specialising in timeless, uplifting sounds; Jack plays a range of funk, soul, disco, house, deep house and a dab of new wave / indie dance ~ from all eras.

Jack Popper has played music at many esteemed venues across Melbourne including: 24 Moons, Angel Music Bar, Capers Thornbury, Ciao Cielo, Cookie, Death or Glory, Ferdydurke, HER Rooftop, Inflation, The Laird, Music Room, Rook’s Return, Section 8, The Toff in Town, UBQ and Welcome to Thornbury.
